Criteria for drawing up the list of rural dwellings in Alentejo
To compile this list of the best rural hotels in Alentejo, I researched hotels in Baixo Alentejo, Alto Alentejo and Alentejo Litoral. From the Costa Vicentina to the Alentejo interior, from the plains to the Serra de São Mamede.
The data in the list below (in brackets) indicates the general classification provided by the guests who stayed at each hotel. Grading ranges from 0-10, with 10 being the maximum rating. Guests' evaluations include value for money, friendliness and availability of staff, location, comfort and cleanliness.
To make the list even more reliable - I considered all types of accommodation: hotels, local accommodation, flats, guesthouses, hostels and others - as long as they have received a minimum of 100 opinions on the booking centre website.
