San Sebastián, in the Basque Country, is a fantastic city. With incredible natural landscapes, great beaches and, of course, some of the best gastronomy in the world. The Basque city has 16 Michelin stars. To inspire you, I've put together a selection of the best photos from my trip to San Sebastián.
Donostia (San Sebastián in the Basque language) is a vibrant city, both night and day. It is a modern metropolis, full of character and honesty. The city’s inhabitants are passionate defenders of San Sebastián and have countless reasons to be.
What's more, it's very easy to visit the Spanish city - even on a weekend from Portugal. From La Concha beach to the San Telmo Museum and the Kursaal Auditorium, there's a lot to see in San Sebastián.
Wide promenades, manicured gardens, terraces with panoramic views, inviting bars, and beaches to relax. In San Sebastián, people eat on the street, at home, anywhere. The pintxos are the soul of the city and it’s impossible to leave Donostia without gaining a few calories…
Here are some of the best photos from my visit to San Sebastián to challenge you to plan a getaway to Donostia. If you need tips, check out what to see in San Sebastián.
